Uruguay international Diego Forlan said he would consider a return to the Premiership if he receives a "good offer".

The 27-year-old Villarreal striker, who is international duty with Uruguay in Egypt, was nostalgic over his time at Old Trafford.

"I carry a lot of great memories from my time with Manchester United," Forlan told FilGoal.com in an exclusive interview in Alexandria.

"I've not received any offers from England so far, but if the right offer comes my way, I wouldn't mind returning to the Premier League," he said.

Forlan joined United from Argentinean outfit Independiente in January 2002 before signing for Villarreal in August 2004.

Uruguay will face Egypt in an international friendly in Alexandria on Wednesday.

"There is nothing special about the game, but it will provide a good test for a young team like ours," he said.

He finished the 2004-2005 La Liga season as top-scorer with 25 goals, helping the Yellow Submarines make their first UEFA Champions League appearance.

He admitted that Villarreal's chances in winning the Primera Liga title are very slim.

"We'll definitely do our best," he said. "But with Barcelona and Real Madrid performing so good, it won't be an easy task."

"Our main objective is to secure Champions League berth for next season, and on the personal level, I will be going for the top-scorer award."
