With a very possible departure for William Gallas out of the club, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is looking to enforce his defense by landing Boulahrouz who can deploy in all defense position.

Although Chelsea didn’t reveal any financial details, German reports suggest that 24-year-old Boulahrouz is set to sign a four-year-contract at Stamford Bridge worth $16 million.

The international defender wasn't included in the Hamburg squad for the Osasuna game in the UEFA Champions League preliminary round in order to be available to play for Chelsea in the same competition once the move is completed.

Boulahrouz is currently in London to discuss personal contract terms as well as undergo medical prior to completing his final move to Chelsea.
