An EFA spokesman told FilGoal.com on Sunday that the decision was taken to provide room for Egypt's friendly with Lebanon on September fifth.

"It is almost impossible to play the game just 24 hours after our match with Lebanon," Medhat Shalabi said.

"We want to attract big crowds to the game and that won't be possible unless Ahli stars featured for Egypt."

The EFA decided to donate all the income of the game to the reconstruction of war-hit Lebanon.

Lebanese capital Beirut and southern Lebanon have been severaly damaged during the 34-day war with Israel.
