Zamalek forward Gamal Hamza traveled to Greece to undergo a trial session with first division side, the player said.

Hamza, who traveled to Greece with his representative Tamer Al-Nahhas early on Tuesday, said that his relationship with Zamalek coach Manuel Cajuda has been volatile lately.

"Things between me and Cajuda have reached a dead end," Hamza told FilGoal.com before leaving to Greece.

The Egypt international was excluded from Zamalek's squad for the Egyptian league game against Petrojet on Sunday.

Hamza said that his efforts to make amends with the Portuguese coach were in vain.

"His (Cajuda's) reaction was just inexplicable," said Hamza. "He didn't even want to explain why I'm sidelined."

The 25-year-old issued a plea to Zamalek's officials asking them to approve his departure if the Greek club, which he didn't specify, makes an official offer.

Meanwhile, Cajuda dismissed any knowledge of Hamza's trip to Greece, noting that the player will be punished if he misses training.

Cajuda told FilGoal.com that the reason for omitting Hamza from the team's squad for the Petrojet game, which Zamalek won 2-0, was because the player was not fit.
