Wenger
Reports said that Arsenal's poor start to the domestic season and the departure of several stars have made the administration less enthusiastic about keeping the Frenchman.
But Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood rubbished these claims aside.
"If he is happy to stay, then we will want him to stay even longer," he said in an interview with The Sunday Mirror.
"His contract ends at the end of next season and it is probable that we will talk about a new one at the end of this campaign.
"In the 10 years he has been here, we have progressed so much as a club. It's a joy to have him here."
Wenger steered Arsenal to winning three Premiership titles, four FA Cup trophies, and the silver medal of the European Champions League.
The three-time Premiership manager of the year also helped in turning Arsenal into one of the richest and most famous clubs in England and Europe, an accomplishment that is much appreciated by Hill-Wood.
"Wenger has been a fantastic asset for this club and achieved remarkable things for us," he said.
"Indeed, it's mainly due to the success that we've had under Arsene that we are at a new stadium.
"We would never have been able to build it without him being here."
