Shikabala

PAOK Saloniki have suspended Mahmoud Abdul-Razeq 'Shikabala' for two months on Friday, citing his absence without permission as a reason for their decision.

The Greek club also said on their official website that they will ask the Egyptian Football Association 'EFA' and the Egyptian government to let the player return to Greece.

PAOK recently denied Zamalek's claims that they signed Shikabala on a one-year loan deal for 100,000 Euros.

However, Shikabala's agent and Zamalek official Ahmed Swelam insisted the player will shortly play for the Cairo giants.

"The player's international clearance will arrive on Tuesday then he will be able to participate with Zamalek, Swelam told FilGoal.com.

"PAOK's statement is a maneuver in order not to spoil their relationship with other club," he added, refereeing to Ahli, who were frontrunners to acquire the player's services.
