Emmanuel Eboue, Freddie Ljungberg and Julio Baptista have been hit with different injuries which will rule them out of Arsenal's next two games.

"Ljungberg has a calf injury, he has a scan today. Emmanuel Eboue has an injury to his medial knee ligaments. He will be out for three to four weeks," Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger told the club's official website on Thursday.

"We have also lost Julio Baptista in training with a hamstring injury. He will be out for a while as well."

Eboue and Ljungberg sustained the injuries during international duty while Baptista was hurt in a reserves game against Charlton.

"Unfortunately when you have so many players away you can have some bad news," Wenger said.

The trio will miss Gunners' Premiership clash against Watford on Saturday as well as the UEFA Champions League tie with CSKA Moscow on Tuesday.

In some good news for the French coach, defensive duo Gael Clichy and Philippe Senderos are on course of a return to action.

"They are making good progress. But I don’t know when they will be in the team. They could be in the squad for one of the two games. But they are still a little bit short really," Wenger said.
