Ismaili failed to make up for their loss to Zamalek after they were held to a 1-1 away draw by Tersana in the Egyptian League on Friday.

Algerian striker Allam Bou-Farma put Tersana ahead four minutes from time but Abd-Rabou salvaged a point just two minutes later as Ismaili's impressive run came to an end.

The result put Dervishes temporarily on top of the Egyptian League table with 17 points while Tersana lie third from bottom on four points.

Tersana grabbed a shocking lead in the 86th minute after some good work from veteran striker Hossam Hassan.

The 40-year-old raced down the left flank before providing a neat low cross to the unmarked Bou-Farma who slotted home from close range.

Shortly after the goal, Egyptian international Abd-Rabou halted Tersana fans celebration when his curling free kick took a deflection off the keeper and went into the top corner of the net.
