Meanwhile, Mahjoub said he is afraid the refereeing could hamper Sfaxien's chances in their first ever appearance in an African Cup final.

"I trust my team's abilities to score an away goal but I do not trust refereeing in this match," he said.

"In the return-leg the referee could do no favors to any team because CAF officials attend and all media means follow the match, unlike the first-leg."

The African champions will defend their title against Sfaxien on Saturday October 29th, while the second-leg and decisive leg will be in Tunis on November 11th.
