Bremen hit three against Levski

Werder Bremen striker Miroslav Klose said that Group A results on Tuesday provided him and his team mates with double pleasure.

The Germans crushed Levski Sofia 3-0 away to move into second spot benefiting from Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Barcelona at the Nou Camp.

"We are very pleased to have got the win we were looking for here and then to hear the result in Barcelona," UEFA.com quoted Klose as saying in the post-match press conference.

"I said at the press conference yesterday that we were hoping for a draw and that's how things turned out."

Despite the comfortable victory, the German international praised Levski and said that Bremen's accurate final touches made the difference.

"Levski played well in the beginning, but we were aggressive too. We produced some clinical finishes with our second and third goals," Klose said.

Levski, yet to open their account, are out of the competition, leaving the three powerhouses fighting for two places in the first knock-out stage.

Chelsea are in charge of the group with 10 points, three ahead of Bremen as title holders Barcelona keep them in sight with five points.
