Inter Milan striker Julio Cruz said all his team mates were to be credited for the nail-biting victory over Parma that kept them as joint leaders of the Serie A.
Cruz volleyed home in the stoppage time as Inter edged 2-1 past their hosts and stayed level with Palermo at the top of the table.
"We won, we're first in the table: these are the important things," the Argentinean international was quoted as saying by Inter.it on Sunday.
He was singled out for praise by Inter chairman Massimo Moratti, who said that the club is very grateful to Cruz.
"It's always nice for a player to hear the compliments of the president, who I thank sincerely," added Cruz, who scored six goals this season.
"But it's the whole team that should be pleased because it was the protagonist of a nice game, and a difficult and important victory."
