West Ham forward Carlos Tevez will face the worst nightmare could ever haunt an Argentinean citizen: wearing Brazil's shirt, British media reported on Wednesday.

After angrily leaving Upton Park for being substituted during West Ham's 1-0 victory over Sheffield United, Tevez apologized to manager Alan Pardew who opted to let his team mates decide on the appropriate punishment, reports in England said.

The Hammers squad agreed that the 22-year-old international should pay part of his salary to charity, something that the Argentinean had no problem with.

But the severe part of the punishment came up later when they gave him his country's arch-rivals shirt, ordering him to wear it next week in training, reports said.

Tevez joined West Ham from Brazilian club Corinthians in the summer but he has yet to score for the London side as he struggles to find a place in the starting 11.
