Abou-Treika sustained a calf injury during training on Tuesday and was declared doubtful for Sunday's game.

But Abou-Treika confirmed to FilGoal.com's correspondent in Nagoya that he will be ready to play against Auckland after undergoing an X-ray on his leg that proved he was injury-free.

The 28-year-old took the field and trained with his Ahli teammates on Wednesday.

FilGoal.com can also confirm that Ahli skipper Shadi Mohamed is in good health.

Mohamed fainted during a news conference for Ahli's delegation early on Wednesday and had to be revived by teammate Essam Al-Hadari and coach Manuel Jose.

The player had to be rested in for Ahli's exhibition game against third division side FC Kariya which the African champions won 2-1.
