Zamalek captain Hazem Emam has been called up for his side's squad that will play Masri in the Egyptian League on Friday, assistant coach Ahmed Ramzi said.

Ramzi told FilGoal.com on Wednesday that Emam alongside playmaker Magdi Atwa and holding midfielder Alaa Abdul-Ghani are ready for the trip to Port Said.

Emam has been left out of Zamalek's games recently due to disciplinary reasons after he skipped several training sessions without permission.

Abdul-Ghani was sidelined for about six weeks with a broken arm while Atwa has been banished by manager Manuel Cajuda for about a month with no clear reason.

On the other hand, Zamalek top scorer Amr Zaki will miss the game due to personal reasons and left-back Osama Hassan serves an automatic one-match suspension.

Zamalek fans chanted angry slogans against Cajuda after Zamalek's 2-2 draw with underdogs Ahli Bordj in the Arab Champions League (ACL) earlier this week.

They demanded restoring superstar Emam in the squad as well as the prominent Atwa as Zamalek continued their inconsistent displays and mixed results.

Zamalek are in third place in the local table with 26 points, five behind leaders Ismaili who have played two more games.
