Mexico's Club America coach Luis Fernando Tena said on Saturday he is aware of Ahli's style of play and said his players should hold on to the ball if they want to win the bronze medal.

"They're a pacy, well-organized side, with some very capable players up front," Tena was quoted as saying by FIFA's website.

"On top of that, they play with great focus and determination.

"To win this game, my team will need to have more possession, move the ball better and attack more consistently."

Tena's side scraped 1-0 past Jeonbuk of Korea in their first game of the tournament before being humiliated 4-0 by European champions Barcelona.

Yet, Tena said that the third place will be enough to fly the Mexican flag high in the tournament.

"We know how important it is to finish third, so we'll be taking this game very seriously and going all out to win," he said.

"That outcome would be great for everyone at the club and also for Mexican football, as it involves all of us."
