The Egypt international lost four teeth in a collision with the Portsmouth defender during their 1-1 draw in the Premiership.

"I think Pamarot didn't mean to do me any harm," Ghaly told FilGoal.com in a phone interview on Wednesday.

Pamarot's boot powerfully hit Ghaly's face and forced him to leave the pitch for nearly ten minutes but he returned to the game before being replaced during the interval.

"At first, I didn't realize how much the injury was serious but then I demanded (manager) Martin Jol to replace me." The 25-year-old midfielder said.

"This is not the first time I lose teeth, it happened to me before with my former Dutch team Feyenoord in a league clash against Ajax Amsterdam."

Ghaly said he is ready to play in Tottenham's next game, revealing that he will wear a mask in order to avoid any further complications.

The former Ahli player responded to criticism regarding Tottenham's match against Liverpool in which he missed two scoring opportunities.

"There was just one golden opportunity to score, the other wasn't that easy," he said.

"I played well in all matches for Spurs expect the one against Aston Villa at the White Hart Lane because I was injured."
