Ismaili are set to sign Enyimba striker Atanda Sakibu on a multi-year contract for $150.000, the club said on Wednesday.

The 18-year-old prodigy is due to pen the deal in Egypt before the weekend, Ismaili chairman Yehia Al-Koumi told reporters.

Sakibu is one of the most prominent strikers of two-time African champions Enyimba.

He netted against Ahli during his side's 2-1 defeat in the African Champions League in 2005.

Sakibu almost made a move to the Israeli League in January but a financial agreement couldn't be reached.

Meanwhile, Ismaili are believed to be keen on appointing caretaker manager Sabri Al-Miniawi on a permanent basis.

Al-Miniawi steered Ismaili to producing a 3-0 drubbing of Egyptian and African champions Ahli on the road, Ismaili's first league victory over Ahli in Cairo in 15 years.

Though, a FilGoal.com correspondent in Ismailia said that talks with Brazilian coach Jose Lino are still going on.

Lino, who was the director of the academy of Brazilian giants Santos, would be sought to take over the same position in Ismaili.
