Ahli’s Tunisian defender Khaled Badra took part in the final against city rivals Ittihad despite being ineligible according to reports in Saudi Arabia and Tunisia.

Badra played full game against Ittihad in the final helping his team lift the trophy on Thursday.

Ittihad officials are expected to make a complaint to FIFA regarding the matter.

Ahli have also refused to allow Badra play for his country in an international friendly against Morocco on Wednesday, forcing the Tunisian FA to make an official complaint to FIFA who may suspend the player.

A player who doesn't play for his country in an international friendly is automatically suspended for a match or two, said Saudi newspaper Al-Watan on Monday.
