Liverpool will sign the 27-year-old striker on a free transfer as his contract with German club Bayer Leverkusen expires in the summer.

Voronin had plenty of experience in the Bundesliga having played for Cologne, Mainz and Borussia Moenchengladbach.

On the international level, Voronin played 40 matches with Ukraine and scored five goals.
