Jose was furious after Ashour looked laid back in Tuesday’s training to the extent that he felt it was necessary to punish the player, who will also miss the exhibition game against Barcelona on April 24th.

The Portuguese coach had already lashed out at Ashour on Saturday, blaming him for the late goals that Ahli conceded in the CAF Champions League match against Sundowns of South Africa that ended in a 2-2 draw.

The 21-year-old midfielder will miss two of Ahli’s important clashes this month as the Egyptian and African champions face off against ENPPI and Sundowns.
