Zamalek have been suffering from a defensive crisis since Al-Tabie's move to the Turkish outfit in 2004.

The 31-year-old claims he is on the verge of completing a move to the Cairo giants, where he enjoyed an outstanding career.

"I will arrive in Cairo on Saturday to sign the deal, the chances of me playing in Zamalek next season are more than 80%," Al-Tabie told Egyptian Radio after Zamalek's 2-2 Egyptian League draw with Ismaili.

Egyptian daily Al-Masry Al-Youm said earlier that Al-Tabie demanded EGP one million to join Zamalek but the player refused to reveal any financial details regarding the imminent move.
