The key midfielder was taken off during the first leg match at Old Trafford with a foot injury, a move that obviously had its negative effect on Ancelotti's team, as they lost 3-2.

"Gattuso will definitely be available for the United game," Ancelotti told Gazzetta Dello Sport.

However, Milan are likely to miss veteran defender Paolo Maldini who was also forced to pull out of the Old Trafford game with a knee injury that saw him play for just 45 minutes.

"The only player in doubt today is Maldini," Ancelotti added.

Maldini, who turns 39 next June, has a persistent knee problem and his deputy is likely to be Italian center-half Daniele Bonera.
