Khouribga are at the summit with 57 points, leading second-placed Maghreb Athletic Tetouan by 11 points, but the latter will play on Monday.

With four weeks remaining, Khouribga look set to make history and become Moroccan champions for the very first time.

Last season's champions, Wydad are in fourth place trailing Khouribga by 12 points, as their hopes of retaining their crown are at stake.

The Casablanca outfit were also dumped out of the CAF Champions League last 16 phase.
