Egyptian international defender Beshir Al-Tabie has reached an agreement with Zamalek officials to return to his former club next season.
Al-Tabie, who plies his trade for Turkish outfit Rizespor, will join Zamalek on a three-year contract, club official Mohamed Sabri Abou-Alam told FilGoal late on Sunday.
"Beshir signed a pre-contract with the club and all what we need is to finalize the matter with his Turkish club so he can formally join Zamalek nest season," said Abou-Alam.
Ever since joining Rizespor in 2004 the 31-year-old defender has been linked with a return to Egypt.
Al-Tabie’s return will help bring stability to Zamalek’s shaky backline that conceded a host of goals in different competitions this season.
