The Egyptian champions need two points from their remaining four fixtures to clinch a third straight title.

"We hope to settle the title as early as next match, so that we can rest our exhausted key players, and also give the opportunity to others who have not played regularly," Al-Badri told the club's official website on Wednesday.

Ahli will have to beat Al-Gaish on May 13th to be declared champions.

"Our team suffers from continuous fixtures, we are on course to win three competitions, and some of our players need to rest."

Manager Manuel Jose claimed recently that his players are starting to get 'bored' and physically consumed from the overlapping of seasons.

Ahli's new season could start before the current season ends in case they reached the Egyptian Cup final on July 2nd, as the game will be just one week after their first CAF Champions League group stage fixture.
