Sfaxien took a 20th minute lead through Amir Hadj Massaoud, but Etoile fought back well in the second half, as Amine Chermiti equalized six minutes after the break and Saber Bin Faraj secured the win ten minutes later from the penalty spot.

Etoile were name champions after they reached the 53rd point, leading Cub African by five points, with one match to go.

Etoile finished runners-up to last season's winners Esperance, with just one point separating them.
