Eleven absentees in Pharaohs' training

Eleven players missed Sunday's National team training in the Shooting Club ahead of Mauritania game in the African Nations Cup qualifiers.

Ismaili's Mohamed Fadl, Hosni Abd-Rabou, Omar Gamal and Mohamed Fathi had to stay with their team who will play against Masri in Egyptian Cup on Monday, as was the case for ENPPI's Farag Shalabi and Ahmed Al-Muhammadi who will face Suez Cement.

Ahli defender Wael Gomaa has been rested and is expected to be back on Monday.

Turkish-based trio Ibrahim Saied, Mohamed Abdullah and Abdul-Zaher El Saqqa will join the group on Tuesday.

The Pharaohs, who are on top of group B with 7 points, will play against Mauritania on June 3rd and are in need of a victory to secure their place in the 2008 Ghana finals.
