Ahli boss Manuel Jose has decided to leave goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari out of his side's Egyptian League quarter-final match against Al-Gaish on Friday.

Amir Abdul-Hamid, who deputized for Al-Hadari during the latter's rest period, will stand between the sticks after his recent excellent performances.

Defender Wael Gomaa will also miss the game due to suspension but it won't be a problem for the Cairo giants after the return of defensive duo Shadi Mohamed and Emad Al-Nahhas, who have been rested for the remaining two games in the Egyptian League after a long and tiring season.

Emad Meteb is expected to partner Angolan striker Flavio Amado upfront, with the support of playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika.

The winners of Ahli-Gaish tie will face either Harras Al-Hodoud or Ismaili in the Egyptian Cup semi-finals.

Ahli's arch-rivals Zamalek have booked their place in the last-four after defeating Mansoura 3-0 on Thursday.
