Ahli produced a brilliant display in the first-half and went to the lockers room with a 16-15 lead.

However, they began the second-period with just four men after duo Mostafa Al-Sayed and Hussein Awad were handed a two-minute suspension.

Ciudad had the upper hand for the majority of the second-half but Ahli managed to level the score after notching the 28th strike shortly before the end.

However, Ciudad succeeded in grabbing the 29th goal with 15 seconds remaining. Ahli had the chance to equalize and clinch the trophy on goal difference but their late effort struck the bar.
