The 29-year-old has been ruled out for six weeks after suffering a partial anterior knee ligament tear in a training session last month.

However, Ahli's medical staff said that Al-Saied's condition is getting better, and that his rehabilitation program will be completed next week when he will be available for full training after having a fitness test.

The Egypt international should be fit for Ahli's African Champions League clash on June 24th against Al-Hilal of Sudan in the quarter-finals of the competition.

Meanwhile, Angolan striker Flavio Amado flied home to represent his country in the 2008 African Nations Cup qualifier against Swaziland on June 17th.

The Egyptian League top scorer promised to return to Cairo on June 19th, to catch up with Ahli's preparations for Hilal game.
