Burundi-Egypt date is yet to be decided

The Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF) has postponed the Burundi-Egypt game in the African qualifiers as the Burundi Federation failed to provide a suitable place to host the visitors.

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) announced on its official website that the CAF postponed the game for a date yet to be scheduled.

Burundi have tried their last shot on Tuesday as they asked for a few more hours to find a suitable place next to the stadium where the game will be played but they couldn't fulfill the demands and so the CAF issued its decision.

The crisis blew up when Egypt ambassador in Rwanda informed the EFA that there are no hotel reservations in Kigali for the moment because the city will host an international AIDS conference.

Initially the game has been switched to Rwanda as the main stadium in Burundi is under renovation right now.
