The EFA have approved the players committee's decision of fining Zamalek's midfielder Moataz Eno EGP 50 000 for his criticism against the club plus giving back a sum of EGP 20 500 for lack of participation.

A statement was published on the EFA website, saying that the board reviewed all the documents and recommendations then approved the decision.

"We are going to appeal against this decision, We are waiting for the arbitral commission decision before taking the case to a higher level," said Zamalek board member, Amr Ganayni who already revealed that the club is ready to go to FIFA.

"We reviewed the decisions and the recommendations and there was nothing to re-adjust as the decision is totally conforming to the Egyptian and international rules," said the EFA president Samir Zaher.

"I don't know why they (Zamalek) are so angry but if they think it's unfair they should appeal in front of the Arbitral commission," added Zaher.

Zamalek had initially asked for a EGP 5 million fine on Eno in addition to a one-year-ban for holding negotiations with their arch-rivals Ahli in December, more than six months before his contract's expiry date.
