"Catania's offer is worth $150,000. I'm set to earn $450,000 per season and will have a 20% annual increase," Abdul-Monsef told FilGoal.com.
The Zamalek stand-in guardian had a trial with Lazio earlier this year, but the Biancocelesti, who are seeking to replace retired keeper Angelo Peruzzi, did not step up their interest.
"I won't be joining Lazio. The Italian club opted not to make any offer for my services."
Abdul-Monsef has been subjected to heavy criticism from Zamalek fans, who accused him of being responsible for the team's Arab Champions League exit at the hands of Jordan's Faisali.
However, Abdul-Monsef's displays in the closing parts of the season have earned him praise from media as he stood between the sticks instead of regular keeper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed, who was sidelined for long periods due to injury.
Abdul-Monsef said he will go back to Cairo on Monday and will wait for Zamalek board reply to learn his coming destination.
