Egypt Olympic team suffered an early exit from the All African Games in Algeria following a 3-1 defeat to Zambia on Friday.

The Pharaohs failed to make up for their 2-1 defeat to hosts Algeria in the tournament's opener and were embarrassingly eliminated.

Egypt players lacked any motivation and were outplayed by their opponents throughout the match.

Fatal defensive mistakes allowed the Zambians to hit Egypt's net on three occasions to demolish their hopes in qualifying to the next round.

Egypt's consolation goal came through Mohamed Ibrahim in the 74th minute when his shot from inside the area left the keeper with no chance.

The Olympic national team, who will be dissolved following the tournament, could not make single achievement as they failed to qualify to the 2008 Beijing Games after suffering a 4-2 aggregate defeat to Ivory Coast.
