Zamalek have recently completed the signing of center-half Mahmoud Fathallah from Ghazl Mahalla, in addition to Beshir Al-Tabie and Karim Zekri.

Consequently, French manager Henri Michel has decided to release some players in return, where Al-Qabani and Mahmoud were the unfortunate duo.

A source inside the white club said that the axed players were sent back home from the team's current pre-season training camp in France.

On the other hand, Zamalek's negotiations with Trabzonspor for midfielder Ayman Abdul-Aziz reached a dead end, after the Turkish side demanded 2.5million Euros to release the Egyptian.
