The Egypt international midfielder has returned to Tottenham after his move to Birmingham City collapsed due to concerns over his attitude, according to Blues boss Steve Bruce.
"He's a Tottenham player. I haven't heard his side of the story," Dutch coach Jol said.
"I could say it's a private matter, but of course it's not because everybody will know about it. I will have a talk with him tomorrow and then we'll let you know."
Ghaly is unlikely to feature in Jol's plans next season especially after Spurs signed Hertha Berlin midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.
"We thought he was gone, so we bought Boateng and it is not easy for him," Jol said.
"Last year, No.1 was Aaron Lennon and Hossam Ghaly was my second choice on the right of midfield. He did unbelievably well, he maybe had more assists than any other player, but we have bought Boateng.
"It's always nice to have three or four choices on the right, but sometimes it's a bit too much, so we will have to talk to him," he concluded.
