Egypt captain Ahmed Hassan scored in Anderlecht’s 2-2 draw against FCV Dender in the Belgian Jupiler League on Saturday.
Hassan opened the score for the Belgian champions in the 12th minute before Moroccan Mbarak Boussoufa doubled the lead seven minutes later.
However, Anderlecht were not able to hold on to their goal lead and sustained two goals before the first-half was over.
This was the first draw for Anderlecht in the new season after victories in their first two games. The Purples are now third on 7 points.
