Will Saied quit football at 27?

Ankaragucu defender Ibrahim Saied revealed that he is having a tough time at his new club and that he could be retire from the game if he failed to rejoin Ahli.

The 27-year-old stopper joined the Turkish side this summer from Rizespor, but he seems to have problems adapting with his new club despite enjoying a fine campaign with Rize last season.

"I am starting to get bored from football, life is becoming very difficult for me in Turkey, I can't settle in here and if the situation remained like that I might put an end to my career," Saied told FilGoal.com exclusively.

Despite the club's perfect start to the new season, having won two games out of two, Saied in unhappy with his current status at Ankara.

"Apart from the club's financial problems, I don't get plenty of action and not used in my normal position," he added.

"It is impossible to live in a foreign country and be in a team where you cannot get paid regularly or play regularly."

Saied came off the bench late in Ankaragucu's last two games against Ankaraspor and Denizlispor but the unsettled defender won't be able to leave the club before January as he has just arrived.

He has been desperate to seal a move to his former club Ahli since last season, but his efforts were in vain as the Egyptian champions showed no interest.

However, Saied is renewing his attempts to secure a return to Egypt during the winter transfer window or else he could call it a day on his football career.

"I will try my best to join Ahli in January, actually I've been in contact with a club official recently and I hope I could learn my fate soon or else I may quit the game," he said.

"I have been approached by Zamalek as well via ex-coach Henri Michel, but the board blocked the move."
