Ismaili midfielder Samuel Johnson has been recalled by Guinea for the 2008 African Nations Cup qualifier against Cape Verde in Conakry on Sunday.

The 23-year old has been included by coach Robert Nouzerat in the 24-man squad for the must-win game, which may take the Syli Nationale to the Ghana 2008 finals.

Johnson, alongside Ittihad Jeddah's Al-Hassan Keita and Etoile Sahel's Mohamed Sacko, are the only Arab-based players in the Guinea squad.

The Guineans are in charge of Group 8 with eight points, leveling with Algeria who will face Gambia away at the same time.

On the other hand, Ahli defender Sebastiao Gilberto has been also recalled by Angola for the first time since the Achilles injury he suffered last year.

Angola, who have already booked their place in the Ghana 2008 finals, will meet Kenya in Nairobi on Saturday.
