Al-Saqqa's Egyptian teammate Mohamed Abdullah revealed that the international defender is still suffering from a broken nose, which kept him out of action for the last week.
"Abdul-Zaher broke his nose against Ankaraspor last week, he was ruled out of our latest game with Denizlispor and is expected to return in two weeks time, I am not sure if he can play against Galatasaray," Abdullah told FilGoal.com.
Abdullah himself did not take part in Konya's 2-2 home draw with Denizli, as the former Ahli winger injured himself in the pre-match warm-up.
"I was supposed to start against Denizli but I twisted my ankle during the warm-up, so I did not play," he said.
"I will resume full training in one week time, fortunately we have an international break next weekend, so I think I will be fit to face Galatasaray."
Konya are still without a win after four weeks in the Turkish league, as they hold 15th position on three points.
