AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani believes the referee's controversial decisions cost his side the Serie A game against Palermo on Wednesday.

"The only disappointment is that we aren’t getting the rub of the green from the referees."

"The mistakes from the officials seem to be hurting us," Calcio Italia magazine quoted Galliani as saying on Thursday

Palermo came from behind to edge past Milan 2-1, thanks to two strikes from Aimo Diana and Fabrizio Miccoli.

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti was furious with Diana's goal as Brazilian striker Amauri appeared to have handled the ball in the build-up.

However, Galliani is taking positives from the match.

"It’s the second game where we have conceded strange goals. However, everything is going well. I can see from the performance that the team is developing well."
