Ahli midfielder Mohamed Barakat has been ruled out of Egypt's decider against Botswana next Saturday because of a groin injury.

Ahli's medical staff sent his medical record confirming his need of a rest.

"We have received another report concerning Mohamed Abou Treika who suffers from some pains in his knee," Egypt's trainer Hamada Sedqi told FilGoal.com

The Red Devils' skipper joined the camp ahead of the match and is set to undergo a medical test to decide on his situation.

The Pharaohs suffer from injuries blow as Middlesbrough striker Ahmed Hossam "Mido" has also been ruled out after picking an injury in the Premier League last week.
