Despite doubts over their title credentials following Thierry Henry's departure, the Gunners have enjoyed a glittering start.

Arsenal have won seven matches and drew just once as they are in charge of the league table with 22 points and one game in hand, two clear of second-placed United.

"There is no doubt that Arsenal are a stronger side than they were last season. But I don’t think we will know about this Arsenal team this season until they lose," Evra told The Sun on Tuesday.

"That’s the important time when you look to see how a team reacts. It is how you bounce back. We know we can do it.

"We had a difficult start to the season but we have shown great strength and character and are winning now without conceding any goals," the French defender added.

Title holders United have not conceded a single goal since their 1-0 defeat to neighbors Manchester City on August 19th.
