The club's official website denied the declarations of Chairman Ramon Calderon published by daily AS Marca.

The Real president was quoted saying that he is in talks with his counterpart in Valencia and that the deal could be sealed in January.

According to the report the Valencia bosses asked for $150 million to let go their international striker. Calderon said that he will use his good relations with Valencia president to reduce the price.
