Hamburg SV playmaker Rafael Van der Vaart has reaffirmed his strong desire to leave the Bundesliga side and move on to a bigger club.

The want-out midfielder is targeted by a number of European clubs including the likes of Chelsea and Valencia, but he has singled out Spain as his dream move.

HSV officials tried their best to persuade their star man to stay, but the Dutch ace has eventually expressed his frustration for being labeled a 'not for sale' player.

"Hamburg's chairman Bernd Hoffman asked me in May how the club could make me happy. I replied that I would like to move to Spain and would want them to listen to offers for me. He agreed to do that," Van der Vaart told Bild.

"But then a club comes along and suddenly I'm not for sale."

"I cost just five million euros and now Hamburg could get over 20 million euros for me, yet nobody at the club is willing to talk about it."

Hamburg rejected a £15million bid from Valencia in the summer, and the Bundesliga club does not seem to be flexible towards leaving their captain in the January transfer window as well.

Club chairman Hoffman revealed on Saturday that negotiations will continue in an attempt to convince Van der Vaart to fulfill his contract, which runs out in 2010.

Despite his eagerness for a bigger move, the Ajax academy graduate insisted that he will not play for a Bundesliga side other than Hamburg, even if a team of Bayern Munich's standard made an offer.

"Bayern are interested in me, but I would never join another club in Germany," he said.
