Egypt's squad announced
Tunisia and Nigeria have been top-seeded in the 2008 African Cup of Nations along with title holders Egypt and hosts Ghana, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Thursday.
The Pharaohs, who won the 2006 competition on home soil for record-breaking fifth time, will lead Group C in Kumasi.
Ghana, who will be looking to take advantage of playing at home to win their fifth Nations Cup in history, will be in Group A that is based in capital Accra.
Four-time winners Cameroon, 2004 finalists Morocco, last edition's runners up Ivory Coast and Senegal, who are yet to win any African Cup, occupy the second tier of seeds.
The third tier is made up of Guinea, Mali and South Africa while the fourth one consists of Angola, Benin, Namibia and Sudan.
The draw for the 2008 African Cup of Nations will be made on Friday in Accra.
