Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has named his Dream Team from the players who played under his helm, at the club, during the past 11 years.

The big shock was the absence of the Gunners legendary captain Tony Adams as well as Ian Wright, one of the club's top marksman.

Adams lost his place for Martin Keown. "Martin had a tremendous appetite for winning. He was unbelievable in one-on-ones and had the technique but not always the confidence."

Another surprise in Wenger's squad, that was published by Goal.com, was the nomination of midfielder Ray Parlour while some players like Marc Overmars and Emmanuel Petit were left out.

“Look at his medals. It tells you he is one of the biggest-ever players for Arsenal. He is better in the last minute than the first. Ray’s an engine that never stops.”

Elsewhere Wright didn't make it through as Dennis Bergkamp and Thierry Henry overshadowed him.

Here is Wenger's best 11:

David Seaman, Lauren Martin Keown, Kolo Toure, Ashley Cole, Ray Parlour, Patrick Vieira, Robert Pires, Freddie Ljungberg, Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.
