"Ahli are trying to hire me in January when the season ends here in Sudan," the Nigerian striker told an Egyptian TV Show.

Godwin had an impressive form with Hilal this season and led them to the CAF Champions League semi-final scoring eight goals.

"I still have two years in my contract and Ahli will have to get the approval of the Hilal bosses," added Godwin.

The 23-year-old player urged Ahli officials to finalize the deal especially that the Egyptian Champions haven't made an official bid yet .
