Moreover, the Arab FA decided to abandon Kuwait's Al-Arabi from this year's Arab Champions League upon FIFA's order.

Consequently, it is likely that the AFA, the body in charge of next month's Arab competition, will sustain the ban for the Kuwaiti national team.

Kuwait were supposed to challenge Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Sudan in Group B.
