"Toulan asked to quit his job and we agreed to terminate his contract in a friendly way," board member Hossam Ghoueba said to in a TV show on Thursday night.

"President Sayed Metwali talked to coach Taha Basri and he agreed to take over the job," added Ghoueba.

A meeting is scheduled between Basri, the former Ismaili and Enppi boss, and Metwali on Friday to conclude the deal.
